Introduction of {C}

Introduction of C:
                                   C  is a general-purpose high level language that was originally developed by Dennis Ritchie for the Unix operating system. It was first implemented on the Digital Equipment Corporation PDP-11 computer in 1972.

          C remains one of the most popular programming language. C facilitates writing code that is very efficient and poweful and, given the ubiquity of C compilers. C can easily ported to many different platforms.
C is widely used in embedded systems. It is used for developing system applications.

Java, PHP, JavaScript, and many other languages are mainly based on c language.

The  first C standard is popularly known as C89. The current C standard is commonly referred as C11 which is shown in above Chart .
C is a general-purpose programming language, and is used  for writing Program's in many domains, such as operating systems, numerical computing, graphical applications, etc.

NoteC is a closer to the machine it means C compiles faster than other new languages.
